La confluence entre Meu et Garun
Unclassified
in Montfort-sur-Meu
-
The Meu river crosses the South of the land, from Saint-Gonlay to Talensac through Iffendic, Montfort-sur-Meu and Breteil. One of its tributaries, the river Garun, meets it in the heart of Montfort-sur-Meu.
This convergence has played an important role in the history of the town, given that the medieval city was located between those two rivers.
That convergence is visible from the street "Rue du 11 juin 1944".
