La Courbe is a former gravel quarry on the banks of the River Vilaine. Steps have been taken to prevent the lake gradually silting up and provide migratory birds with an appropriate stop-over. This is a popular beauty spot for anglers or walkers and it is equipped with picnic areas and footpaths. Visitors can enjoy a pleasantly well-preserved natural environment not far from Rennes.
