TASTY SAINT-MALO

How about discovering Saint-Malo differently? The Tasty Saint-Malo cache is perfect for you! From Les Brassins de Saint-Malo microbrewery to the Epices de Roellinger boutique via Maison Guella or Demeure de Corsaire, you’ll soon know everything about the gastronomy of Saint-Malo. And because walking works up an appetite, don’t hesitate to fill your tummies after finding the treasure! It would be a terrible shame not to try the treats of Saint-Malo after so many temptations.

HEAD TO ÎLE AUX PIES!

Head to Bains-sur-Oust close to Redon. This cache in the middle of nature will take you to a magnificent site on the banks of the Oust, on the border of Ille-et-Vilaine and Morbihan. Rocky cliffs, marshes and woods and the little Saint-Méen chapel nestled in the greenery will be the backdrop for your treasure hunt. Ideal for children and adults (and the dog) to let off steam and have fun!

THE PEARL OF CANCALE

This little 1-hour circuit will show you Cancale from a different angle! It offers a panoramic view of the bay of Mont-Saint-Michel and its oyster beds, a walk around Houle harbour with its traditional fishing boats, and a leisurely stroll through an old district of fishermen’s houses. In addition to the treasure, you’ll learn all about the fishing past of Cancale! Wonderful, isn’t it?

DRUIDS’ STONES

A rolling stone gathers no moss! Go to Fougères forest and discover the Druids’ stones in the company of Rouledépec (a korrigan). This cache combines history, nature and monuments, and is best discovered on foot. After finding the treasure, finish the adventure with a little tour of the leisure park in Chênedet to relax and take part in open-air activities: kayaking, pony rides, beach, etc.

IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF MERLIN

This 33-km route is best discovered by car (or bike if your family is very sporty!). From Merlin’s tomb to the Fountain of Youth, via Paimpont forest, this route is the opportunity to discover or rediscover Brocéliande and its legends. Don’t forget to make a little detour via Concoret, a typical village of Brocéliande. It’s magical!

JOURNEY AROUND THE WORLD

Direction Thabor Park in Rennes for a lovely walk in a splendid green space covering over 10 hectares in the middle of the Breton capital. Combining formal French gardens, an English cottage garden and a botanical garden, this park has many surprises in store… But to find the treasure, you’ll need to be smart and very discreet. So, are you ready for a journey around the world?

There are many other routes to discover. Find all the essential information you need for other hunts directly in the Trésors de Haute Bretagne app.
