he Fougères Forest (1,500 hectares) includes a wide range of trees although beech and oak predominate, forming what was once known as the Ancient Scissy Forest. Hidden in the woodland are strange sights such as the Cordon des Druides (an alignment of a dozen standing stones) or the Pierre Courcoulée (a passage grave). Also in the forest are the Chénedet lake and leisure complex providing numerous activities and a selection of walks.
