  • The Domaine de la Bourbansais at Pleugueneuc, between Rennes and Saint-Malo, is a beautiful park and zoo with 400 animals from 5 continents, including giraffes, big cats, monkeys and birds in recreated natural habitats. The animal care team run regular activities to allow visitors to get close to and understand the different animals, many of which are protected under international agreements. The park has 2 fantastic live shows, one featuring birds of prey and another with hunting dogs...

The park has 2 fantastic live shows, one featuring birds of prey and another with hunting dogs (unique in France). There is a play park and other attractions for children including a maze in summer. The park was awarded the Upper-Brittany Tourist Innovation Trophy 2012 in the eco-tourism category.
